AT&T is introducing Pantech’s first Android smartphone – the Crossover.
Pantech is known for its tough phones, and the Crossover is the perfect handset to introduce Google’s Android OS to its fans. The Crossover runs on a 600MHz processor with up to 32 GB of external SD memory.
The Pantech Crossover will run on Android 2.2 Froyo, on a 3.1-inch touchscreen. What’s interesting with the Pantech Crossover is the slide-out keyboard from underneath the touchscreen. The exposed keyboard is a full QWERTY keyboard on 4 full row.
Pictures can be taken with the included 3 megapixel camera. The Pantech Crossover comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an Accelerometer and a GPS.
If you’re a Pantech’s fan and haven’t made the jump to Android, here’s your chance. AT&T will introduce the Pantech Crossover June 5th for the low price of $69.99 with a two year contract.
