Verizon newest 4G phone – LG Revolution with Netflix

Verizon is introducing tomorrow its 3rd 4G smartphone – the LG Revolution. After the HTC Thunderbold and Samsung Droid Charge, the LG Revolution will be available starting May 26 for $249.99 with a two-year contract.

LG-Revolution

The LG Revolution features a 4.3-inch touch screen, powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Android 2.2 Froyo will be the default version for this smartphone. Ironically, the default search engine will be Microsoft’s Bing search engine. Maps requests will also be powered by Bing. Microsoft Bing on an Android device, interesting. The LG Revolution will also include SWYPE technology for faster typing.

The Revolution will be the first Android phone preloaded with Netflix. So if you don’t root your phone you’ll be able to stream or download movies onto your Android device.

The LG Revolution comes with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.
Finally the Revolution features mobile hot-spot capabilities. This service is included for a limited time at no additional charge.
Note that afterwards you’ll need a tethering plan for this as major wireless carriers have blocked tethering.
