Sony Ericsson announced another Android device at the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona – The Sony Xperia Arc.
The first impression anyone will have when holding this Android is to see how thin it actually is. At a stunning 8.7 mm at its thinnest point, the Xperia Arc surely doesn’t lack any technological features. Powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon, and equipped with a 4.2 inch multi-touch screen capacitive display, the Xperia Arc is ready to deliver vibrant images with its Mobile BRAVIA Engine optimised Reality Display.
This Android device will run Gingerbread OS, overlayed by Sony’s User Interface with access to the Android Market place. The Xperia Arc will come with an 8.1 megapixel rear-facing camera, complete with Sony’s Exmor R sensor for optimum mobile low-light photography and video capture. In terms of connectivity, the Xperia Arc will also feature USB and HDMI ports, 3G and WiFi connectivity as well as storage of up to 32GB
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is available to pre-order on O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone for its launch in April. Prices on T-Mobile start from £25.53/month, including a free handset, 900 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB data.
