Google has released a new version of the Android SDK Version 2.0.1. This new version is a minor update to the Android platform to address minor issues faced by Android developers, but also to appeal to application developers. For instance, this minor update from Android SDK Version 2.0, includes more skins emulator to match the array of different screen sizes and resolutions that developers must face.
Developing Android applications can become quite a daunting tasks for developers that have to take into account all the different Android hardware and software. Hopefully Google will have stricter guidelines for its Android device makers to help promote the Android application market. A stricter regulation along with platform consistency will help promote the Android market and hopefully make it more appealing to developers. Meanwhile Google said that all Android 2.0 devices will be updated to 2.0.1 by the end of the year.
